この記事をダウンロードThe Policies > Tenant level page displays all policies created for tenants. On this page, you can create and manage policies, view the number of violations identified by each policy, and navigate to the violations page for more details.
You can view and manage policies in either of two views: Card view or List view. Card view presents each policy as a card with key information visible at a glance, while List view presents policies in a table with details shown in rows.
Management steps differ by view. In Card view, use the action button directly on the policy card. In List view, click More actions next to the policy, and then select the required action. The sections below use Card view to illustrate policy management tasks.
To find a policy, enter the policy name in the search box and press Enter. The results show policies whose names match your input.
You can also narrow the list by tenant name, policy name, or status. Click Filter to open the filter panel, select the criteria you want, and then click Apply.
Click the Edit policy button to open the Edit policy page. Update the policy settings, then click Save to save your changes, or click Save and run now to save your changes and immediately run an Enforce policy job for the current policy.
Click the Assign policy button to open the Assign policy window. Select one or more target nodes, and then click Assign to apply the policy.
Click the Delete policy button to delete the policy and all related risk details from Policies for Microsoft 365. In the confirmation window, click Delete.
After deletion, all violations and job reports related to the policy are also deleted. Before you delete the policy, download its job reports from Job monitor, or click Download report in the confirmation window.
Click the Run job button to run an Enforce policy job of the current policy immediately. Navigate to Job monitor to check the job details.
Click the Edit policy button to open the Edit policy page, and then click Generate summary. Choose an option to generate a report containing the risk details of the current policy within a specified date range.
To generate a policy summary immediately, click Generate now, select a date range, and then click Generate. A Generate policy summary job starts right away. To view job details, go to Job monitor.
To generate policy summaries on a schedule, click Configure schedule. Enable scheduling, configure the schedule settings, enter recipient email addresses for policy summary reports, and then click Save. A Generate policy summary job runs at the configured intervals.
You can find the number of violations that have been identified by the policy. By clicking the violations link, you will be redirected to the violations page. For detailed information, refer to Violations Report.
