#Manage Rules

In Terms and rules > Rules, you can create and manage rules that define how content is identified and processed across your content sources. Rules are central to content management and serve two key purposes:

• What to manage: Define conditions to identify target content, such as created time, location, or metadata.

• How to manage it: Specify actions to apply, such as deleting, archiving, moving, or exporting content.

Trial Subscription Limitations

If you are using an Opus trial subscription, the following limitations apply:

• You can archive up to 5 GB of data.

• For Storage Optimization module rules, the following rule actions are unavailable:

  • Under the Archive and destroy content rule action:

    • Keep the current and the specified number of previous versions, and archive and destroy the rest

    • Archive the current and the number of previous versions

  • The Destroy content rule action and its sub-actions, including:

    • Keep the current version and the number of previous versions

    • Include declared records
