#Subscriptions

To assign licenses to users in Confidence Platform for Google, you must first set up subscription information in Settings > Subscriptions. In Subscriptions, you can formally register and configure Google subscriptions within the system, defining key details like their payment plan, the number of available seats, and the budgeted cost per user.

This setup establishes a controlled pool of licenses that are tracked against organizational budget and capacity. This ensures that only properly managed and budgeted subscriptions can have their licenses assigned to users, providing financial oversight and preventing unauthorized license allocation.

To add a new subscription, complete the following steps:

1. Click Add subscription in the upper-right.

2. In the Add subscription window, complete the following configurations:

   • Tenant – Select the tenant of the subscription. Licenses of the subscription can only be assigned to users under the same tenant.

   • Subscription – Select a subscription to add to the system. You can search for the subscription to add by using the search box in the dropdown list.

   • Payment plan – Select the payment plan mode. This will affect how the budget is calculated.

   • Total user seats – Enter the number of available user seats (number of licenses) that can be assigned in this platform.

   • Budget per user / month (USD)– Enter the budget for the assigned licenses. Based on the assigned subscriptions and configured budget, total estimated monthly bill of users will be calculated and displayed on the user details page. For more details, refer to View User Details.

3. Click Add.
