#How to Take Over a Dataset

Taking over a semantic model may be necessary if you become responsible for a tyGraph solution in your team or organization. Follow these steps only if you have permission to access the underlying data source. After you take over the semantic model, you will be prompted to authenticate the dataset.

#Steps

1. Open the workspace that contains the semantic model you want to take over.

2. Select Schedule refresh.

   

3. Click Take over.

   

4. Confirm that you have the required permissions, then click Take over again.

   

5. Re-authenticate the data source.
