By default, tyGraph collects SharePoint and Pages data from all sites in the tenant. If your organization only wants to collect data from specific SharePoint sites, you can configure site-scoped data collection and use the Microsoft Graph sites.selected permission model.
Complete the following steps:

Navigate to Data collection on the left navigation pane.

Select Allow data collection on specific sites as the collection method. For details, refer to Configure Data Collection Settings.

Add the URLs of the SharePoint sites that should be included in data collection.

Create a custom app registration using the Microsoft Graph sites.selected permission. For details, refer to Create an App Registration with Microsoft Graph sites.selected Permission.

Grant the application access to the SharePoint sites that should be included in data collection.

Verify that the sites configured in the app registration match the sites configured in the Data Collection settings.
The list of sites configured in the app registration must match the list of sites configured in the tyGraph Data Collection settings. If the lists do not match, harvesting failures may occur. Some reports, such as Sites that I Own, may not function when using the sites.selected permission model. For the best reporting experience, we recommend using the default permission model unless your organization requires restricted site access.
